Impartiality Policy

ICL management is committed to ensuring that all Management System Certification activities are conducted in an impartial and unbiased manner. ICL personnel, both internal and external committees that may influence any certification process, are required to act impartially and will not allow commercial, financial, or other pressures that could compromise their impartiality in any way.

ICL provides certification services in such a way that activities and relationships do not give rise to potential conflicts of interest.

However, if such relationships pose a threat to impartiality, ICL documents and demonstrates how to eliminate the threat, and relevant information will be available to those concerned. Top management is committed to taking action so that if the relationships of individuals or employers involved in the certification organization to be audited are found to pose an unacceptable threat to impartiality and the extent to which impartiality can be promised, the certification body will immediately remove those individuals or employers from any certification activities of the organization to be audited.

As a result of all the facts mentioned above, ICL will not provide Management System consulting. ICL’s top management is committed to respecting support for ICL’s independent operations, and if there are any relationships (internal or external) that pose an unacceptable threat to impartiality, certification services will not be provided.
